Lodell is a mining village in the foothills of the Iron Peaks, a mixed community with many gnomes from the nearby Sanos Forest. A formerly prosperous community, it has had troubles of late, with a resident spell-caster petrified by a kobold were-weasel, trade routes and animal herds threatened by a roaming basilisk, and the town's border guard disbanded under mysterious circumstances.
