Scarred face and hands. Buzz cut dark hair. His face is rather more square than the normal angular elven faces. Leather pants, and studded leather armor over a light shirt and padding. Leather bracers and boots.

Diren worships no particular gods, but gives some small offerings to those who have helped or may aid him in his endeavors. As such, Kuroth and Rudd receive some offerings. He offers to Pelor's church to support their good works, as the church provided some aid to him as a child. He also now offers to St Cuthbert in return for the miracles bestowed by Pire.

Diren has some experience crawling around in ruins and digging out treasure before. His last party ended in a way he'd prefer not to discuss and so he's fallen in with this new group. He's not so much into dealing with monsters and cults to help the common man, but they do tend to have good stuff that's worth money.

His youth and early adulthood were spent in Verbobonc. Raised by humans for a bit, but then either cast out or orphaned. Either way, that was over a century ago. He spent time as a street kid, got by on luck and physical ability. Didn't get too heavily involved in thieving as a profession. Ended up joining up with some adventurers and has spent his time digging in ruins since.
