Magic items would be most useful to me if they: grant protection, grant additional spell slots or uses for them, or more spells/abilities.

- Some way to learn Abyssal, Infernal, and/or Celestial to communicate with the summoned creatures
- There is a mask below that would also allow this
- Spellbooks to learn spells from
- Scrolls
- To learn spells
- Or use them for quick access to utility spells
- Wands, particularly of damaging spells which I have few of
- Potions
- healing is never a bad thing, nor remove disease or neutralize poison, nor restoration
- protection from evil is OK
- barkskin or cat's grace or displacement are nice
- can't go wrong with invisibility or fly or gaseous form
