Session 5

Discussion about healing. We decide to take a short rest, healing up Daran and Naivara.

We go into the tunnel. There is a cavern and a monster. We fight!

The nothing attacks Helga and Daran, doing damage. Naivara hits with ray of frost. Grapevine attacks with his rapier. The monster attacks Naivara with a spell, but she is too healthy. Naivara attacks and hits. Helga attacks, hits, and uses healing word. Grapevine attacks and misses.

The monster attacks Naivara and misses. It attacks Grapevine and misses. Daran attacks and hits. Naivara attacks and hits. Helga attacks and misses. Grapevine attacks and hits.

The monster attacks and gets a critical hits on Grapevine. The monster attacks Naivara and misses.

Daran attacks and kills the monster.

We get 40sp each, 30gp each, 1 gem worth 15gp. There are other things, including a named sword, that go to the general fund. We each get 112 xp.

We short rest. There are 4 exits. We take the closest. It goes to stairs going down. There are doors. We check the one on the right for traps and then enter. There is a wizard's lab. Grapevine kills a rat that runs across the room. It disappears! The wizard is trying to brew potions of invisibility. We get a book about the lost mines and some reagents worth 25gp each.

The other door has Redbrands playing dice. Grapevine runs in and attacks then runs out. Combat continues. Daran kills 2. The rest die.
