- Zash arrives into town. He got Del's animal messenger, and has two goals:
- To give Del a quart of Rapport Malt, and to get some sort of report from Del as to what he's been up to.
- To make sure the town remembers about staying out of the woods during Richfest. Thornstaff the elf druid (male) also knows the information, but sometimes travels around and may not have been in Blasingdell to give reminders.
- He will at some point in the evening give a loud announcement to as large a crowd he can find, coincidentally while the party is going past.
- After the announcement, he will likely seek out Del, and challenge him to a druid duel: the last remaining in animal form wins, once either druid has chosen a form once, neither druid can choose that form again.
- His favorite forms for the duel are tiger, giant toad, brown bear, and lion.
