- got info from guard captain, owe him another gem like a 50gp emerald
- met some mercs, entertained everyone with song/story/performance of our adventures, hired 3 brutes each with a 50gp gem up front, and another after the job. hired everyone else for gold with the same deal. We owe a total of 500 gp after the job is done.
- spent 9 days crossing the country to the frost temple
- scouted from outside with familiar, stealth, rapport malt
- waited for evening quiet, pass without trace up to and over the walls, still alerted bear, Brigeth dominated it.
- ambushed the two patrolling guards with bear, sneak attack, magic missiles, just barely finished them off.
- snuck inside with silence, charged up the aisle, took out the war priest in a round, just barely, the bear got the finishing claw just before priest's turn.
- spell was wearing off, sent bear outside
- haven't looted anything yet, archers were fairly useful, no other hirelings have gotten into combat yet
- jake in dragon form is inside with us, not flying in from outside the bell tower
- brigeth used pass w/o trace, two dominate animal spells
- hipplo used silence, it's still running
