  • a trade and farming town at the country's center. Bissel's own Knights of the Watch held a huge citadel called Oversight near this town; the fortress never fell to the Kettites despite being besieged for several years.
  • The massive Castle Oversight, at Pellak, has become the headquarters for Bissel's branch of the Knights of the Watch
  • Once a small farming area, Pellak has grown into a large trade community. Located between Thornward and the Grand March, the town folk built a bridge to span the Sudlor River joining the two halves of this significant trading town with a diverse but mostly human population (2,300). The south side of the river, called Old town, is heavily steeped in tradition and is the home to many artisans and fisherman as well as the less pleasant elements of urban life. The North side sits the more recent additions to the city.
  • North side has large, recent, unpolished-looking stone walls, recent middle class buildings, not yet filling up walled areas. Massive citadel is outside the walls, looks constructed with wall of stone spells, etc. Imposing, effective, not grand. South side of town, past river, is unwalled.
  • Festival grounds are in south half of town, surrounded by old buildings
