- 4th day, cross into Besselar. Can either camp in the hills, or continue on for an hour at sunset to reach Besselar Keep.
- 5th day pass through Calpius, a scruffy-seeming place, full of armed miners
- 6th day descend from the hills, pass through Mahiro among its orchards
- 7th day, pass through Ellis, meet Tax, king's messenger on the road outside Pellak, who directs them to the Shining Lion inn, where they have rooms reserved for them.
- In the town, on the night when the party reaches the town, they encounter an extremely unfriendly opponent
- conjurer priest of celestian, sends messenger to summon Oli to the temple, priest and his summoned mezzoloth (hiding in a darkness spell by the ceiling) attack oli, due to the priest's fortunetelling that Oli is destined to become the highest priest of Celestian in Bissel, an honor the priest covets for himself. the mezzoloth attacks milo with enervation (which it has instead of cloudkill). The priest summons evard's black tentacles to lock the party down (and teleports somewhere protected), then tries to fireball etc. the party
- Replace 3rd level spells with blink and counterspell, stone skin with vitriolic sphere, web and daggers with blindness and shatter
- temple has supplies useful for setting up a shrine to celestian at the new settlement.
- Investiture happens at the festival grounds
- Margrave Larrangin looks like a young Patrick Stewart, but with a blonde goatee. Purple cloak, steel breastplate, blue robes, gold crown and chain of office.
