- Pteranodons (earth glide, not used by dao), Deinoneichus (petrification, guard geese), Stegosaurus (back spines are stone shards, have encumbrence aura, used as pack animals), Brontosaurus (causes erupting earth, used for personal transport)
- needs to be a villain prepping to expand, otherwise we're just colonizers. Maybe Dao? They're earthy and evil and high level. Or a yak folk? They enslave Dao. Maybe not expanding, just using elemental or some other kind of slave labor locally. Pech, xorn, geleb duhr, crysmal etc. All the earth monsters that aren't affecting nadagiri. Ankheg, umber hulks, purple worms, bulettes, basilisk
- there is a fad for petrified wood among the Dao, so there's an outpost here using the local half orcs (bred from fleeing orcs and persuing humans) as slave labor to collect it, and then it's shipped out
