Start facing into natural-looking cavern with two leucrotta emerging. Are weird badger-deer evil? Intelligent? Who knows? They die quickly anyway. Poking around we find some magic stuff. The skeletons are a pair of dwarven adventurers.

We follow the map from the wizard's room and find a secret door. It's a prison - 2 humans and an orc, hobgoblin, 3 goblins. A human was eaten just recently. We debate, take the humans with us, and leave the goblinoids.

Next door we find more prisoners next door - a gnoll, 2 ogres, and a bugbear. We try to get some information from them, they are insulting and attack. We slaughter them and move on.

We decide to have the humans follow 20' behind us as we proceed. Javier wants to be a bard, and wants to follow us. Jonas is more worried, despite having chainmail.

We head through a room with disturbing murals and dining tables. We find a couple gold place settings.

Then to a long room. Diren is exploring far out ahead and spots some wraith-like figures. He retreats back to the party, calling about wraiths. Combat occurs... A channel energy drains a lot of hit points from them - which make dealing with them mostly clean up. Which turns out to be just the first wave. A second channel energy weakens the second wave. We finish them off, despite some severe strength draining.

We return to camp, shooting warning glares at the brigands on the first level. We rest up from the draining.

In camp, Javier is working on his bardic version of our exploits. Using birch bark for paper in composing. It's a passable, if not stunning, work. Moth crafts him a simple flute with Crafter's Fortune.

Back inside we take a different staircase down, expect it to end up adjacent to wraith room. Exiting a door, we head that way and find a room full of common goods. Elmo spots a secret door on the opposite wall, leading into the wraith room. We take stock of the "common goods" and find there's some valuable stuff if we take a lot.

Heading on, we check the rooms the wraiths came from. A red room and a black room contain some valuable items. Two heavy candelabra take up most of a bag of holding.

Moving back the way we came, we find a room full of alchemists and other wizards stuff: powdered metals, etc.

Moving around through passages, we find other off shoots, and find our way back to the ettin room. Heading out again, we find a kitchen. In the back of a cabinet, we find some cheap brandy and crystal goblets. We keep the goblets.

We continue forward, finding a room with a fountain and a door, and a hallway going on. Hearing nothing we head in. A dead elf lies on the ground, mummified but well dressed. As we check things out, Elmo heads into the room and a spirit of an elf emerges from behind a screen.
